Renee has nineteen years of yoga study and training, and over fifteen years of teaching a variety of classes to all types of students in the Seattle area. Having worked with postnatal women for over seven years, she has developed her own Asana sequencing for specific physical needs with emphasis on core and pelvic floor strength, and flexibility and strengthening for shoulders, arms and upper back.   

As a teenager she wore a back brace and has used her own yoga practice as a way to overcome the limitations of scoliosis.  Renee has developed personalized routines for private clients with scoliosis, as well as others with specific needs. She believes yoga is for every age and body and encourages students to take their yoga beyond the classroom and into their daily lives.


She has studied and practiced yoga since 1997, taking classes and training with senior teachers throughout the United States in various yoga styles including Ashtanga, Iyengar and Anasara. She continues to be a

student of yoga and takes weekly classes with her present teacher, to keep

her teaching fresh and to grow in her personal practice.
